
As a workshop leader, parent educator, and coach, Beth helps parents develop tools to respond to challenging situations with intention rather than react from stress. Parents gain approaches to improve communication, alleviate power struggles, and strengthen family relationships. Beth’s experience includes working as a special education teacher and school counselor. She gained additional experience assisting parents and children at the non-profit agency Tuesday’s Child as Parent Counselor and Program Director. Beth has a Master of Education in School Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Parent Coaching Certification® through the Parent Coaching Institute. Beth has served on various school committees tasked to enhance Social and Emotional Learning for students, staff, and parents. Beth is the co-author of the award winning book, Real-Time Parenting: Choose Your Action Steps for the Present Moment.
